Quick start: launch your agent

You want the fastest path from empty account to a live agent.

You can be live in an afternoon. This is the happy path; each step links to its full article.

Steps

  1. Connect your store. Enter your ecommerce platform credentials so the agent can verify orders (and, on Growth & Pro, read your catalog). See Connect your store.
  2. Capture your store facts. Use the AI Instructions Builder to record your hours, contact details, shipping, returns, and payment facts. See Set your store facts.
  3. Review your Instructions. Skim the document the agent reads on every conversation, and fill in store-specific sections with the Builder. See Edit your Instructions.
  4. Add a few knowledge sources. Point the agent at your policy and FAQ pages. See Add knowledge sources.
  5. Set up topics and a few quick answers. Give shoppers browsable topics and instant FAQ answers. See Train your agent.
  6. Test before you ship. Run the order lookup tester and try the agent in the Playground. See Test order lookup and Try it as a customer.
  7. Install it on your site. Copy your embed code or hosted link and add the agent to your store. See Ways to add your agent.

Troubleshooting

  • Agent says "I don't know" too often → it hasn't been taught enough yet → add store facts, knowledge sources, and quick answers; see The agent gave a wrong or "I don't know" answer.
  • Order lookups fail in testing → store not fully connected, or order/email mismatch → run Test order lookup from your dashboard.
