How long we keep conversation data

We keep what you need for records and metrics, and purge message contents on a schedule.

How retention works

  • Message contents are purged a short time after the transcript is sent, so full message bodies aren't kept indefinitely.
  • Conversation records โ€” status, counts, CSAT, and attribution โ€” persist so your dashboard metrics stay accurate over time.
  • Raw data pulled for a CRM Audit is purged after the audit is used.

If you need a permanent record of a conversation, rely on the transcript (emailed, and on Growth & Pro saved to your CRM) rather than the in-app message bodies.
