Set your store facts

First-time setup, or your hours, shipping, returns, or payment details changed.

Store facts are the agent's ground truth about your business — hours, contact details, shipping, returns, and payment methods. They're gathered when you set up and they live inside your Instructions, so the agent reads them on every conversation.

How to set and update them

The simplest way to capture facts is the AI Instructions Builder: it interviews you for each store-specific section and writes your facts into the Instructions, using only what you tell it. To change a fact later, update the relevant section of your Instructions (or re-run the Builder for that section).

  1. Go to Training → Instructions.
  2. Open the AI Instructions Builder and answer the prompts for your store facts (hours, contact, shipping, returns, payment). See Use the AI Instructions Builder.
  3. Or edit the relevant Instructions section directly in the Sections editor.
  4. Save. Facts take effect on the next conversation.

Troubleshooting

  • Agent gives an outdated fact → the fact wasn't updated in Instructions → edit the section (or re-run the Builder) and save.
  • Agent is missing a fact → it was never captured → add it via the Builder or the Sections editor.
