Launch the agent from anywhere

The launcher button puts the agent one click away across your site.

Steps

1. Go to Integrations → Install and copy the launcher button snippet.
2. Add it to your store's global template or footer so it appears on every page.
3. Save and load any page — the launcher should appear; clicking it opens the agent.

You can also drop your hosted link into transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notices) so customers can reach support straight from their inbox.

Choose where it sits

Placement lives in Customize → Launcher, behind the Enable floating launcher switch. These settings apply to your live store as soon as you save — you never need to re-paste the snippet.

Set Position to one of:

• Bottom right or Bottom left — the icon floats in that corner.
• Center tab — a labeled tab docked to the center of one edge, for when both corners are already taken by other widgets.
• Top bar — a full-width band above your header. It pushes the page down by its own height rather than covering anything, so your header and navigation stay visible.

Corner placements

The two corner positions have two extra choices:

• Conversation window — Floating card opens the chat as a card above the icon; Side panel docks it full-height and pushes the page across.
• On phones use — keep the Same corner as desktop, or switch phones to a Centered tab or the Top bar. Your desktop placement is unchanged either way, so "bottom right on desktop, top bar on phones" is a single setting rather than a compromise.

Center tab and Top bar look the same at every screen width, so neither option appears for them.

Tab edge

Whenever a centered tab is in play — as your Position, or as the phone form of a corner placement — Tab edge decides which edge it docks to:

• Bottom — the default.
• Top — pick this when the bottom of the page is busy with sticky bars, promo toasts, or the phone browser's own controls.

The launcher re-checks the screen size as it changes, so a shopper who rotates their phone gets the placement you chose for phones rather than whichever one applied when the page first loaded.

Troubleshooting

• Launcher doesn't appear → snippet added to a single page instead of the global template → move it to the site-wide template.
• Launcher sits on top of another widget, a promo banner, or your cookie notice → it shares the corner with them → move it to a free corner, or switch Position to Center tab or Top bar.
• Launcher is hard to reach on phones → the corner is crowded on small screens → set On phones use to Centered tab or Top bar, which leaves desktop alone.
• The tab overlaps a sticky footer or the phone's browser bar → it's docked to the bottom edge → set Tab edge to Top.
